Week 4 - Ashley

This week was a little less busy because of the 4th of July holiday, but nonetheless Dr. Lane's team ensured every patient was taken care before the start of Thursday.

This week I was able to get ahead on my research project. The IRB and patient consent forms have been approved to start conducting a voluntary study with patients that have received orthopedic surgery. There are still a few minor details to be worked out. 

The study will start as a pilot study because Dr. Lane would like to turn it into a longitudinal study. Ideally we would like to survey 50 patients throughout the next 2 weeks. More details to come in the following weeks.
